K A T I E B A L I S is a multi-hyphenate creative specializing as a wardrobe stylist and branding consultant. Whether she is styling fashion editorials on set, dressing private clients for weddings and special events, or designing visual narratives for brands, Katie lends her creative eye to construct impactful visuals across the board. Balancing the masculine with the feminine and contrasting modern elements with vintage accents are trademarks of Katie’s aesthetic. Her keen eye and vast knowledge of RTW markets fused with her advanced skills in visual design, bring the voice behind her client’s brands to life through visual éclat.
Katie’s wardrobe styling on advertisement campaigns include Levi’s, UPPAbaby, Citizens of Humanity, A. Golde, WhoWhatWear, A.L.C., Janie & Jack, Abercrombie & Fitch and Victoria’s Secret. She has assisted on editorials for prominent industry leaders including ELLE, Glamour, PORTER Edit, & C Magazine. Her bridal editorials have been featured in The Knot and The Anti-Bride. As a creative director and brand consultant, Katie has collaborated with clients including Donatienne Handbags, Established Jewelry, Svelte Metals, LOHO Bride, Sephora, and GLB Properties, among others.
Katie received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami studying marketing, public relations, and sociology. She continued her education in Paris, focusing on the history of haute couture and international marketing. Katie’s passion as a stylist and her authenticity as a creative artist are evident in the joy and infectious energy she brings to her work. Finding beauty in all things—especially the mundane—is a throughline in Katie’s artistic approach and a foundation of her work. When she’s not curating as a creative artist, Katie can be found in Los Angeles with her puppy, Lars, or traveling internationally tapping into new corners of wanderlust and inspiration.
